SHE CAN DO IT
In today’s world of increasing gender equality there are still jobs/occupations that are primarily male dominated. In year’s past, we have witnessed the confidence crisis among girls and the negative impact of stereotypes first-hand. When the words ‘like a girl’ are used to mean something bad, it is profoundly dis-empowering. Today, there is a new movement to redefine ‘like a girl’ into a positive affirmation.
In today’s society, the gap between what men and women can and can’t do has narrowed. Women are challenging themselves and excelling in all aspects of life: politics, sports, business, military and expedition. What was once considered a man’s world is no longer. Not only are these female athletes, businesswomen and adventurers as successful as men, some of them have surpassed men in power, marketing campaigns and social media popularity.
Women have gone to almost every possible physical extreme to prove to themselves and the world they have the goods. Women who are living “action heroes”! From motion pictures to comic books and in particular, the real world, these incredible Women break all the boundaries, defying all stereotypes in the process!
